What does AIMP stand for?
AIMP stands for AI Marketing Professional. The credential is the AI Marketing Professional Certificate, and the program that leads to it is usually called AIMP for short, the same way our digital marketing diploma is called PDMA. If you see "AIMP course", "AIMP program" or "AIMP certificate", they all refer to the same six-week program.
Who issues the AIMP certificate?
The certificate is issued by LAU Academy of Continuing Education, the continuing education arm of the Lebanese American University. Talentdu designs and teaches the program; LAU ACE certifies it. This is part of a three-year exclusive partnership signed on 14 January 2025, under which every graduate of a Talentdu program earns an LAU ACE certificate. You can read more on the LAU ACE partnership page.
What the AIMP certifies
The AIMP certifies that you have completed a structured, hands-on program in applying AI across the main marketing workflows. Each week covers one workflow with the tools professionals actually use, and every session ends with something built.
Week 1, AI foundations and prompt engineering (Claude). What AI is and how it works, the categories of AI in marketing, why AI skills outlast any single tool, and a deep dive into Claude Projects, Skills, Memory, Artifacts and Connectors. Session 2 tours the nine core tools of the program (Claude, Higgsfield, Canva AI, CapCut, Zapier, n8n, Lovable, Meta Ads Manager and Gamma) with a pricing and entry-tier breakdown so you know what to subscribe to and when.
Week 2, AI content creation: images (Higgsfield, Canva AI). Multi-model image generation, building a consistent character with Apps and Soul ID, post-generation editing and camera angles, Cinema Studio in image mode, the product photography every brand needs, prompting with Pinterest and Claude through MCP, and the full brand image set workflow from one brief to a campaign. Then Canva Brand Kit, the Claude to Canva connector, Magic Studio, content pillars for social media and copywriting directions for ads.
Week 3, AI content creation: video and audio (Higgsfield, ElevenLabs, CapCut). How AI video works, choosing between Kling 3.0, Seedance and Veo 3.1, start and end frames, single shot versus multishot, motion styles and color consistency. Then the Higgsfield to CapCut workflow: captions, music, transitions, B-roll, voiceover with ElevenLabs and export for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
Week 4, automation and AI agents (Zapier, n8n, Claude). Automation versus agents, the anatomy of an automation, the automations marketers need, a live lead-capture build with Claude writing the email response, task-based pricing, then building agents inside Zapier, the anatomy of an agent (brain, model, memory and tools), n8n as the more powerful option, how Claude builds n8n workflows through MCP, and when to reach for each.
Week 5, no-code website and app building (Squarespace, Lovable, Claude Code). The three eras of building, website versus app, the pieces of a website and which tool handles which, the AIDA framework for writing copy before you build, then the three ways to build: Squarespace with AI-written code, Lovable with its three modes and Lovable Cloud, and Claude Code with Supabase, Vercel and Resend, including monetization and the honest learning curve.
Week 6, AI in ads and your AI operating system (Meta Ads Manager, Notion, Gamma, Loom, ManyChat). Ads Manager's three levels, the creative, technical and analytical framework, connecting the whole course into one funnel, Meta AI across Advantage Plus, Advantage Plus Creative and the Meta AI Business Assistant, and where human judgment still wins. The final session covers Notion, Gamma, Loom and ManyChat, then GEO: how SEO evolved into it, the content, technical, entity and platform layers, and how to stay ahead as the tools evolve.
How the AIMP is earned
The AIMP is a Certificate of Completion, so it is earned by completing the program rather than by passing an external exam. That means attending the 12 live sessions (every session is recorded, so you can catch up on one you miss) and doing the practicum work that runs alongside them. The practicum is where the certificate gets its weight: every session is built around a real marketing use case, and you leave each one with a deliverable, from a brand image set and a finished video to a lead-capture automation, a website and an ad campaign. Upon successful completion, LAU ACE issues the certificate. There is no separate certification fee; it is included in the $1,200 program fee.
What is included
- LAU ACE Certificate of Completion. The AI Marketing Professional Certificate, issued by LAU Academy of Continuing Education.
- Six Claude Skills, yours to keep. Ready-to-use Claude Skills built for real marketing work: Nano Banana Pro Image Generation, Kling 3.0 Video Generation, Higgsfield Full Workflow, Cinematic Prompt Builder, Website Copywriting and Meta Ads Copywriting. They are handed out during the program and remain yours after it ends.
- 12 live sessions and their recordings, plus the recorded resources and practicum.
- A working personal AI stack across 12+ industry tools, with a clear picture of what to subscribe to and at which tier.
How the AIMP compares with alternatives
AIMP vs a Google AI course. Google's AI courses are self-paced, general-purpose introductions to using AI at work, and they are a good, low-cost way to learn the basics. The AIMP is different in scope and format: it is live, marketing-specific and tool-specific, covering image and video generation, automation, no-code building and Meta ads over six weeks, with a certificate from a university continuing education academy rather than from a platform. Many people do both, and the Google course is a sensible warm-up if you have never used an AI tool.
AIMP vs a prompt engineering course. A prompt engineering course teaches you to write better instructions for an AI model. That is week 1 of the AIMP. The other five weeks are what you do with the output: producing brand imagery and video, wiring automations and agents, building a website or app and running AI-assisted ads. If your job is marketing, prompting alone is rarely the bottleneck; the workflow around it is.

How to add the AIMP to your LinkedIn profile
Add it under Licenses and certifications, not under Education, since it is a professional certificate rather than a degree. Type the fields exactly like this:
- Name: AI Marketing Professional (AIMP) Certificate
- Issuing organization: Talentdu
- Issue date: the month your cohort ended
- Expiration date: leave "This credential does not expire" checked
- Credential URL: https://www.talentdu.com/ai-marketing-professional-certificate
You can mention LAU Academy of Continuing Education in the description, and list the Claude Skills and tools you used in the Skills section of your profile.
Who the AIMP is for
The AIMP is for marketing professionals, business owners and entrepreneurs who want to add AI to their workflow at a practical level. It is not an introduction to marketing. The ideal applicant has about a year of marketing or business experience, a basic understanding of digital marketing and social media, and can commit to the live sessions. Applicants with less experience are welcome if they run a business, a brand or a project. No technical or coding background is required.
If you are starting your marketing journey from zero, the Professional Digital Marketing Associate Diploma (PDMA) is the right first step; it covers the fundamentals across every channel over twelve weeks. The AIMP is the faster path for people who already work in marketing. Many students take both.
