Celebrating the people who inspire our mission

At Talentdu, education isn't just about skills — it's about impact.

Each year, we recognize individuals whose ideas, values, and actions have deeply influenced our journey and helped shape a better future. These honorees are named our Talentdu Visionaries — people who inspire us to grow, think bigger, and stay true to our purpose.

Why We Created This Award

Talentdu was built on collaboration, mentorship, and forward thinking. Over the years, we’ve been guided by exceptional people who believed in our mission and opened new doors for us — as educators, partners, and changemakers.

The Visionaries initiative is our way of giving thanks. It is a tribute to those who light the path ahead, not just for us, but for everyone they touch.

What Makes a Visionary?

Talentdu Visionaries are:

  • Leaders in education, sustainability, or social impact.

  • Driven by purpose, not just position.

  • Inspiring through action, ideas, or mentorship.

  • Building a better future with generosity and innovation.

Meet Our 2025 Visionary: Hiba Yazbeck

A global finance leader, sustainability advocate, and philanthropic changemaker, Hiba has shaped industries and inspired communities. Her early support played a key role in Talentdu’s founding — a reflection of the way she consistently opens doors and uplifts others.

A Leader in Finance & Strategy

As Head of Finance & Accounting at MAHLE North America, Hiba oversees a $3.5B budget and a 120-person team. Her leadership has driven over $5M in savings and led $2B in acquisitions, all while championing sustainable business practices.

Founder of Shifting Gaia

Following a Stage IV cancer diagnosis in 2015, Hiba launched Shifting Gaia, a conscious-living platform that promotes sustainable, toxin-free lifestyles — blending personal healing with environmental impact.

Advocate, Mentor, Changemaker

A proud LAU alumna, Hiba has raised over $400,000 for St. Jude, co-founded major philanthropic campaigns, and actively mentors through organizations like Kotobli and CAAP. She leads the Detroit chapter of the LAU Alumni Association and speaks globally on ESG, leadership, and women’s empowerment.

A Growing Legacy

As Talentdu grows, so will this tradition. We remain committed to honoring the people who help us do better and be better — one Visionary at a time.
